Haha, so did that checking up in the Psychology department about courses for the fall. That turned out well. Unbelievably well actually. Made me realize that not many people like to help others when their life plans/goals change. Even if they are paid by my parents to help me do that -- first time I actually didn't like my school. Still finding it hard to do so, but it got a bit better during Dooley's Week.
The new plan is now I will be taking the courses I need for graduate school at WVU this summer. Got myself set up in my best friend's apartment and also some research experience with a psychology professor there who has her PhD in Child Clinical Psychology. After getting over the fact that I can't take specific courses at Emory, I am now actually getting excited for taking these courses at WVU and being in a different place. I am going to miss being at home as much, but, I will be able to DRIVE home since I am getting a car! Woop woop. Something like a Honda Civic or Accord most likely --- so REALLY excited about that....beyond excited.
So Dooley's Week --- lots of fun! Ate some good food at Taste of Emory, jammed out to Kid Cudi, and dressed up as Pocahontas last minute for Dooley's Ball! Girl Talk was rockin' it out on stage and the music was bangin.
Catching up with An'del was great -- finally getting to talk to him about what's been going on in my life as well as his was a nice refresher. Allowed me to sit back and revel in all that I have accomplished in the past couple of months --- more important accomplishments than grades and goals......personal accomplishments. He made me see that I have changed since Freshman year. I always knew that I would change during my college years, but never realized how much until he began to point it out. Freaking love that guy. As well as his wife. Wonderful people.

"There I just said it, I'm scared you'll forget about me."
My fall schedule right now is looking pretty good. Got it all figured out I think. Just have to go meet with someone in the Psych department to clear up some last minute things. I've been getting on my future, like I said yesterday, "live big", sorta got to take my own advice. Lol.
Got in touch with two important people from home to see what the future summer holds for me as well as the REST of my life. Haha. How's that for big?
And Johnny Boy tomorrow. I know I have seen him once before so I shouldn't be THAT excited...but I think I am more excited this time around because I actually know what's in store! Rosie is in for a real treat. Also, the opening act, Michael Franti & Spearhead.....great great great guy. Going to be sweet.
I am also very happy that when I have to register for classes I don't have to worry about not getting the ones I want....since I'll have SENIOR STANDING. Ah.
Big. Big. Big.

Wherever you are, whenever it's right, you'll come outta nowhere and into my life.
I am BACK!
Wow, the last post really was on February 23rd?! That is totally insane. It feels like it was yesterday. This past month has really flown by fast. UGA, Dallas, Iowa........crazy. Three weeks in a row of literally NO time to do anything other than things that needed to get done. All three weekends were fun and interesting in their own way. UGA was fun because we got to perform without the extra pressure of "having to win". Dallas, back to the roots, no surprises here really. Not really sure we were prepared for this competition, but lessons learned. Lastly, Iowa was super fun. Really chill and definitely a competition we should go back to. Except me, maybe. Not sure I can show my face there again after the stunt I pulled. Yeah, a little Janet Jackson 2.0, as my dad would say, went down. Haha. I guess good times?
Spring break 2010! Headed down to Florida with Sara and finally got to experience her house and where she grew up. Her house is gorgeous and the weather was perfect while we were there. We also went to Thali's house in Melbourne and hung out with him on the way down to Sara's. While in Ft. Lauderdale, Sara took me to the biggest outlet mall, Sawgrass Mills Mall, about 2 miles long! AH! I didn't know what to do with myself and after 4 or so hours I was really tired. Haha. We saw four movies - Shutter Island, Alice in Wonderland, Percy Jackson & The Olympians, and Remember Me. My favorite was probably Shutter Island -- gotta love the Leo! I also got to meet up with Sara's close friends Stephan and Kanwal -- really nice people! One day we went to the beach -- best HOUR ever! Also, took a mini road trip to Miami for a couple of hours - really cool to see the different atmosphere there. During the week I got to have a bunch of different meals prepared by Sara's mom as well -- so so so good! Oh, how could I forget -- Sara's dad took me, Sara, and Raeesa out to eat at a place called Little Havana and I had the BEST steak everrrrr, Cuban style! Towards the end of the week we headed back up towards Melbourne and spent one last night with Thali along with John and Tulika celebrating St. Patty's Day. Good times guys. Yesterday, the last day of break, Sara and I got back to ATL and headed to the Michael Buble concert! He was BANGIN. No joke. Super hilarious and vocals were amazing. Wish my mom could have been there with me though!
Now onto real life again and getting my fall schedule figured out. Almost a senior in college! WHAT?! Is it possible?
Finally getting a chance to catch up with An'del tomorrow night so looking forward to that.....and then John Mayer concert Wednesday with Rosie! Wooohoooooooooooo!
Also, I love hearing new music. It's like when you are a little kid and your parents succumb to you and let you get that candy you want so badly. It's that feeling. AH.
Live big.
